A Brief History

Teen Media Productions is an online company that brings you the best of teen created new media through a community with common goals. Teen Media Productions, also commonly referred to as “TMP,” is an entire community run by teens, for teens. TMP is split into three different sections: new media networks, services, and in-house productions.

Teen Media Productions was founded on July 27, 2005 under the name Teen Podcasters Network, as podcasting was just taking off and many people jumped into the field. In February of 2007, Teen Media Productions was formed to bring the original Teen Podcasters franchise under it’s virtual roof, in addition to a newly formed network, the Teen Bloggers Network.

In addition to syndicating teen content, Teen Media Productions has two in-house productions in both the blogging and podcasting fields: MacFocus Magazine and MacFocus Podcast. Both are run and produced by some of the best teens in the technology fields. We’re always growing and have a number of ideas to implement into future shows.
